Why Contribute?

Campaigns are expensive! They require websites, mailings, door hangers, business cards, yard signs, use of vehicles, office supplies, etc. Because of the expense, I have chosen the mini-campaign option under Washington's Political Disclosure Commission's rules, thereby limiting campaign expenditures to $5,000. Even so, that is a big chunk out of a family budget.

Voter contributions ease the financial burden on candidates and encourage qualified community members to come forward to serve their fellow citizens in public office. No amount is insignificant when added to the contributions of many others. All contributions are appreciated and put to good use.
